If you are going to take your adorable six year old to a ceramic studio for him to paint, that means he should be painting. It won’t look perfect but you should treasure the art project of your little boy. Taking the kid, telling him he’s going to paint, then proceeding to do everything for him is just going to make him hate you. It’s your project when you pick out the piece, the tracer, trace it, pick out the paint colors and the paint, and do nearly all the painting yourself. Seriously, he’s old enough to handle at least doing the base coat even if the design has to be super perfect and adult. Poor little Mikie, I’m sorry your parents suck so hard, I would have let you paint my slightly lumpy vase if I could.
